Monthly humanitarian funding update

The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) requirements are 48 per cent funded, that shows slight increase since the past month thanks to generous funding provided by Germany in addition to support from Spain and Nous Sims. During past month humanitarian response and donors activity were redirected towards Covid-19 response, therefore, some activities within HRP targeted to meet the needs of vulnerable Palestinians may have to be reduced. Further continuous support from donors is necessary to implement the essential projects of 2020 HRP.

The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) requirements are 41 per cent funded, that shows 10 per cent increase since the past month thanks to funding provided by Germany to WFP, ECHO's contribution to NRC and Sweden funding towards Islamic Relief Society in addition to funding received by UNICEF from Poland in addition to generous support provided by donors to Humanitarian Fund.

The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) requirements are 41 per cent funded, that shows 10 per cent increase since the past month thanks to funding provided by Germany to WFP, ECHO's contribution to NRC and Sweden funding towards Islamic Relief Society in addition to funding received by UNICEF from Poland. Furthermore, the oPt Humanitarian Fund is being generously funded by Germany, Belgium,Sweden and Switzerland among other donors. This month also UAE provided significant contribution towards Covid-19 response activities. Starting May 2020 OCHA also has started providing the tracking of funding towards the Covid-19 response plan.

The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) requirements are 31 per cent funded. This amount has doubled since the past month thanks to the funding provided by Canada and Japan to UNICEF, UNFPA and some INGO's.

The 2020 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) requirements are 14 per cent funded. This amount is significantly higher than in the first two months of this year. In order to respond to the full scale of needs of vulnerable people across the oPt, humanitarian partners will require more support.
