This week, nine Israelis and 15 Palestinians killed and dozens others injured and numerous structures sustained damaged in the Gaza Strip and southern Israel; and Israeli forces and Palestinian armed factions stepped up air strikes and rocket fire, respectively. In the West Bank, Israeli forces injured 67 Palestinians. Also, settlers severely injured a Palestinian boy and vandalized at least 60 olive trees. The Israeli authorities re-instituted further restrictions on access to Ramadan Friday prayers. The report also includes an update on access through Rafah and the crossings with Israel.
