oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthly Update

During August 2020, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 64 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 25.4 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (66 per cent) and West Bank (34 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 35 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 19 projects by national NGOs and 10 projects by UN agencies. Of the 45 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 32 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During July 2020, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 71 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 28.3 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (68 per cent) and West Bank (32 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 41 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 20 projects by national NGOs and 10 projects by UN agencies. Of the 51 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 35 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During June 2020, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 75 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 29.8 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (69 per cent) and West Bank (31 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food  Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 43 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 22 projects by national NGOs, 10 projects by UN agencies. Of the 53 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 37 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During May 2020, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 80 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 31.5 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (70 per cent) and West Bank (30 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 45 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 24 projects by national NGOs, 11 projects by UN agencies. Of the 56 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 39 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 38 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 17 projects by national NGOs, 11 projects by UN agencies. Of the 49 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 29 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 33 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 20 projects by national NGOs, seven projects by UN agencies. Of the 40 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 27 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 15 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 17 projects by national NGOs and seven projects by UN agencies. Of the 22 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 11 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.
