oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthly Update

During February 2022, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 22 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 12.4 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (98 per cent) and West Bank (2 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 10 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 5 projects by national NGOs and 7 projects by UN agencies. Of the 17 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 10 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During January 2022, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 32 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 16.8 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (98 per cent) and West Bank (2 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 15 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 9 projects by national NGOs and 8 projects by UN agencies. Of the 22 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 15 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During December 2021, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 41 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 20.7 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (91 per cent) and West Bank (9 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 21 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 9 projects by national NGOs and 11 projects by UN agencies. Of the 32 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 22 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During November 2021, the occupied Palestin-ian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 50 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 26 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (89 per cent) and West Bank (11 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 25 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 11 projects by national NGOs and 14 projects by UN agencies. Of the 39 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 24 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During October 2021, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 54 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 27.2 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (88 per cent) and West Bank (12 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 28 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 12 projects by national NGOs and 14 projects by UN agencies. Of the 42 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 25 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During September 2021, the occupied Palestin-ian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 60 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 29.4 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (89 per cent) and West Bank (11 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 31 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 14 projects by national NGOs, 14 projects by UN agencies and one project by organization of the Red Crescent Movement. Of the 45 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 28 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

During August 2021, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) had a total of 68 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 35.9 million, addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (90 per cent) and West Bank (10 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 36 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 16 projects by national NGOs, 15 projects by UN agencies and one project by organization of the Red Crescent Movement. Of the 51 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 33 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Projects focus on the areas of Education, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 24 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 13 projects by national NGOs, 13 projects by UN agencies and one project by organization of the Red Crescent Movement. Of the 37 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 22 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 21 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 8 projects by national NGOs, 8 projects by UN agencies and one project by organization of the Red Crescent Movement. Of the 29 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 16 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 23 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 13 projects by national NGOs, 11 projects by UN agencies and one project by organization of the Red Crescent Movement. Of the 34 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 16 are being implemented in partnership with NNGOs
