oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthy Update

In June 2019, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) was supporting 48 ongoing projects, totalling US$ 22.5 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (76 per cent) and West Bank (24 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of education, food Security, health, protection, emergency shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 21 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 20 projects by national NGOs and seven projects by UN agencies. A total of 16 of the projects implemented by international organizations are in partnership with national NGOs.

Of these, 23 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 19 projects by national NGOs and 6 projects by UN agencies. Of the 29 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 14 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 20 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 17 projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of the 25 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 13 were done in partnership with NNGOs.
