oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthly Update

In March 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 14 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 4.6 million addressing urgent needs in the West Bank (25 per cent) and Gaza Strip (75 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter & Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH, and Protection. Of these, 8 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 2 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 4 projects are being implemented by UN agencies. Of the total, 7 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.

In February 2017, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 16 ongoing projects, for a total of US$5.3 million, addressing urgent needs in the West Bank (30 per cent) and Gaza Strip (70 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of Emergency Shelter and Non-Food Items, Food Security, WASH and Protection. Of these, 9 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 2 projects are being implemented by national NGOs and 5 projects are being implemented by UN agencies. In total, 8 projects are being implemented in partnership with national NGOs.
