oPt Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) – Monthly Update

In April 2019, the occupied Palestinian territory Humanitarian Fund (OPT HF) had 42 ongoing projects, for a total of US$ 19.2 million addressing urgent needs in the Gaza Strip (81 per cent) and West Bank (19 per cent). Projects focus on the areas of ducation, Food Security, Health, Protection, Emergency Shelter & NFI, and WASH. Of these, 20 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 17 projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of the 25 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 13 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Of these, 18 projects are being implemented by international NGOs, 12 projects by national NGOs and five projects by UN agencies. Of the 23 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 11 were done in partnership with NNGOs.

Of the 21 projects implemented by INGOs or the UN, 11 were done in partnership with NNGOs.
