The Barrier’s total length is approximately 708 km, more than twice the length of the 320-kilometre-long 1949 Armistice Line (Green Line) between the West Bank and Israel. 61.8% of the Barrier is complete; a further 8.2% is under construction and 30% is planned but not yet constructed. When completed, only approximately 15% of the Barrier will be constructed on the Green Line or in Israel. approximately 85% of its route will run inside the West Bank, isolating approximately 9.4 percent of West Bank territory, including East Jerusalem and NoMan’s Land.
