The Barrier’s total length is 707 km, more than twice the length of the 1949 Armistice Line(Green Line) between the West Bank and Israel. The winding route of the Barrier in the ‘Azzun ‘Atma area allows for territorial contiguity to be maintained between four Israeli settlements - Etz Efrayim, Elqana, Sha’are Tikva, and Oranit - and between these settlements and Israel.
